Based on your knowledge/education going into studying for the first time, how comfortable were you after your first run of MCQs?

Did you feel like you knew nothing?

    Were you overwhelmed?

Did you think it was going to be ridiculously difficult?

After you got into the habit of studying for a few weeks, what change(s) did you experience?

I’m getting ready to begin my studies and did a few MCQs just to see… yikes. haha.

For the most part I did very poor on the first go around with MCQ's.

    -----------------------------
    BEC - 77, 03/2015 (first try)
    FAR - 79, 05/2015 (second try)
    REG - 83, 12/2015 (first try)
    AUD - 84, 03/2015 (first try)

I got 99 problems but the CPA ain't one.

This is an interesting question. I was actually encouraged the first time I did MCQ's. My very first MCQ's were from those released by the AICPA. By the time i started studying, it had been 8 years since I finished undergrad and 2 years since grad school. I used the MCQ's for BEC and REG as pretests, which allowed me to eliminate about half of my lectures for each section (I work in tax and am very familiar with BEC-related topics from reading I do on my own).

    BEC - 88 8/29/15
    REG - 82 11/14/15
    AUD - 83 1/8/16
    FAR - 80 2/29/16
