I really liked the hiya button. I hope Jeff brings it back. Sometimes I use “hiya” to say thanks for commenting on my post. Or sometimes I'd use it to imply that I agree. Often times I used it like facebook's like button. Sometimes I'd use it, just so that the author would know that I read their comment.

It helps to promote interaction between ninjas.

I don't always feel like writing out a heart-felt reply. And that button allows me to say something, without having to type. Lol

Totally concur. I would have hit the hiya! on your response. Totally deserved it, too! But nooooo, mean old Jeff took it away! He mentioned something about the forum misbehaving last week so hopefully he will bring it back.
