Scenario – last public gig was 2008-2011. Small office – 2 partners and me. Couple of support staff.
I quit early Feb of 2011 – 2 or 3 weeks notice. I know it was during tax season but their workload was ridiculous. I regularly was going home between midnight and 1 in the am. Owner would hand me fireball candy so I stayed awake on the way home. That being said, I am considering pursuing my cpa license (again) and was going to reach out to the female partner – who has since left and struck out on her own . How would you word a letter asking for the NYS Form 4B letter signoff? In my mind they are attesting to the work performed. Not the issue of leaving during tax season. I have been in private accounting since then with no desire to return to public.
Thoughts all mighty Ninjas?
