Hi! I just passed my last section (Yay!!!) I have 147 credit hours currently, so I need 3 more to get licensed in SC. Does anyone have recommendations for online schools I can take a 3 credit class from? I have all of my accounting credits done, so it can be any class. Looking for an affordable way to wrap this up! Thanks 🙂

@Chandler Congratulations on passing all four exams. What an accomplishment! I had some accounting education requirements to fulfill after passing, and I used LSU online learning. I took Forensic Accounting/Fraud Auditing, but there are several courses to choose from (both in accounting (if it's a course you haven't already taken in your undergrad/grad)) and in other areas of study)

The specific course I took was very straightforward, and it was self-paced. I took my time with it, to make sure I studied sufficiently to pass the exams/quizzes, but I think it lets you complete the course as soon as you can (with some timeline requirements, but nothing too strict).

Here is a link to the course listing. Hope you find a course you like/need!

In Texas, the board approved 3 Community Colleges. Lone Star in Houston, Austin Community College, and Mountain View. Lone Star and Austin are very easy to enroll in classes at the last minute. They offer online classes in a wide range of accounting topics. Great program to check off or round out your education. Very affordable in the $400-$800 range depending on where you live. I personally recommend Lone Star because of the number of classes available.
