If so, what section and what was your score? I would love to hear some success stories!

I have seen people post on here that they hadn't studied at all (or less than a day), and the scores were usually 35-50, though there were some outliers.

    Why would anyone do that?

    FAR - 75 (2/25/16)
    AUD - 80 (4/8/16)
    REG - 80 (6/10/16)
    BEC - 79 (7/19/16)

i took FAR 8 months out of school with no additional prep because my NTS was about to expire. it is my lowest, but a passing, score. I had no expectation of passing but remember sitting at computer and going “oh, i know this one” at times. my sims were not shockers, either, but i did keep getting hit with mcq's on one totally unfamiliar topic that came up in a sim, too.
passing totally freaked me out because i realized i was going to have to hustle and work hard to finish the others. all around the time the exam changes were being announced for 2017. i knew i would not get that lucky again.

    FAR 7/25/15 76!
    AUD 10/30/15 93
    BEC 2/27/16 82
    REG 5/23/16 88!
Ninja Book and MCQ and the forum - all the way!!!
and a little thing i like to call, time and effort!

I could see somebody taking a section and passing without additional study if they're in a state that doesn't require 150 hours before taking the exam, and they just took the corresponding accounting class. Otherwise I think it would be foolish to pay hundreds of dollars to take an exam section and not spend at least a few hours to review.
