Harder 2nd Testlet Indicative of Passing?

    I know that the grading of the CPA Exam is practically unknown by the general public however, from everyone’s experience, would you say that getting a harder 2nd testlet is almost a guarantee of passing or no? like if you know you killed the MCQ, but tanked the SIMS, do you think you could still pass?

    Anything can happen. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Try to Move on if you're in that situation.

    Everyone thinks they tanked the sims. There are posts here where people could have sworn they didn't get one right and ended up with a 95. I seriously thought on both FAR and REG that I maybe got 25% of the sims correct but still wound up passing both by a comfortable margin. Truth is, we have no idea how they grade the thing and the best we can do is move onto the next section while waiting for scores to post.

    On the flip side, my second testlet seemed equal to first in AUD Thursday. For the sake of argument, if i got the easiest second set but did well on TBSes , passing is still possible, right?
