So just sat for FAR 2 days ago. Prometric has a seat open Dec 7th.
My next section is AUD. No audit experience, last audit class was 15+ years ago and was right after Enron so the majority of the class was on ethics.

Should I take a week or 2 off to recoup and adjust, or dive right in to audit to attempt to study in less than 4 weeks. My line of thinking is to just study what I can until Dec7th, and take the exam to get a feel for it, and then retake again in Q1-2018, unless I pull off a miracle.
Consider the test fees to be immaterial.

How much time are people spending on AUD?

I am in a similar situation. Took an AUD class back about 10 years ago. learned NADA. Audit is doable in 4 weeks but start studying now. I studied 4 weeks and got a dreaded 74. Studied about 100 hours . But I only do tax in my firm so not bad I got 74. I take AUD again in a couple days.

If money is not an issue I would do the hail mary for sure. Its crazy not to take 2 parts per window even if one is working FT. Best of luck

I studied for AUD for 2 weeks – used the Bisk videos (now ninja plus) and Bob Monette to pass.

Not sure if it’s ironic or not that I would later “buy” those videos, but it’s notable.

I lived at my office and it wasn’t fun – but doable.
