So what do you say to a life long friend that wants you do their accounting homework? He’s in MBA program and he just emails me his assignment talking about can you do this for me because I have no clue and since you are a CPA you should breeze through it. Really? Its pretty much simulations capital budgeting stuff from BEC and preparing Balance sheet schedules etc. I mean, I can do it but it will definitely take me 3 hours to do and that’s time I just don’t have right now let alone im still recuperating from all the exams I took myself lol.

Looks like you already communicated to him regarding this. I would have just told him that this would take you several hours to do, but you can tutor him at CPA rates. Is he willing to pay $100 to $200 per hour? As a friend you can offer to discount it to $50 an hour.
