I am feeling just like you all right now. I have only FAR left on the 5/9 and I am having mental fights with myself to just pick up and get it over with. The advice I see from a lot of you that I think I will use, is “This is the last time I will have to go through this”.

Frustrating because I already passed FAR but I'm an idiot and let it expire. I hope we all just smash our last section and make a thread about the ridiculous celebrations we have upon passing. I would burn all my books and notes but I paid too much for them. Mabye I'll mail all my shit talking friends a thank you letter/envelope full of very very fine glitter. Then maybe they might stop making dumb comments.

    AUD 84
    FAR. 78(expired/retake 5/9/16)
    BEC 77

I read this a couple times per week, meditate for 10 minutes, and go back to work. 😉 Of course, I work part time and study through the week. I couldn’t imagine having a full time job. We are so close………..you got this!!

I think what pushed me was the little voice in my head asking “do you want to study the same material for another 2 months?” It worked for me despite having a full time job, AND taking on more responsibility due to my supervisor being let go.

    FAR 76 (8/1/2015)
    AUD 83 (10/17/2015)
    REG 85 (1/9/2016)
    BEC 83 (2/27/2016) DONE!

Jessica When I lose momentum I have to play all these stupid games to get myself going. 5 minutes of flash cards, 10 multiple choice, 5 minutes of re-writing notes.

I actually have computers set up in different rooms so I can promise myself I only have to spend 5 minutes in each room.

I absolutely can't let myself do anything else when I get home or it's torture picking up my study materials. I shouldn't even be on here right now.

I am one away also… FAR. I actually saved it for last because I felt that having it last would give me the motivation to push though. I am motivated. I study every day. The issue is that the material is just so boring and impossible to retain. There is just sooooo much to remember. The Gleim study questions always feel near impossible because of the level of detail they ask. I'm hoping I can push through these next few weeks and knock this thing out once and for all.

    REG - 81
    BEC - 83
    AUD - 86
    FAR - 78 (Done!)

Luckily with all of the encouragement on here I have been studying harder and more when I get home! You are so right CPA2021! I have realized to just start studying almost immediately when I walk in the door after work. It has really helped! I also set up some study dates with a few other friends taking the exam so that motivates me even more!

I am in a very similar boat. Just REG to go. I failed it in October, and am retaking it again May 5. (Passed BEC in between).

I have been trying to study when I get home from work as well. it is certainly tough, but even a couple hours or one section of review is worth it.

My drive for studying is actually more from not wanting to let my first exam expire. It would REALLY be miserable if I needed to start doing AUD again

    AUD - 80 April 2015
    FAR - 77 August 2015
    REG - 60 October 2015, 73 May 2016, 75 July 2016
    BEC - 79 January 2016

With Reg coming up I'm plan to do nothing with my evenings and weekend but study. Hopefully this cram session works and I pass.

You guys studying during the wait for final score? I think I may kick my feet up for a couple weeks and enjoy life until May 5th.

I'm planning a vacation the week our scores will be released. I feel like re-studying now would be too soon for a July exam.

I am studying through waiting for my score. I am definitely not letting FAR slip away. This subject is too painful to restudy. 😉

I have one left and took it today. I think I failed BEC AGAIN. I am sort of at a loss. I have until February 2017 to pass this exam. So I think if I did fail I am going to take a break from studying and just enjoy life. This exam is affecting my health both physically and mentally. I don't sleep. I don't eat well anymore. My house is trashed. I moved for work so I don't really have friends. I haven't had the time nor the inclination to really hang out with my coworkers or try to meet people. It seemed like the perfect environment to study in — I told myself that I could study all the time without distraction — well that was over a year ago. Now I just feel lonely. I thought I was going to be done in December or January. Work got in the way and that became February when I failed the last exam. So February became April and now here I am looking more like July or August. I just want to meet some cool people and start enjoying this new city. End rant.

    AUD -10/26/15 - 87
    REG -01/28/16 - 80
    BEC -02/27/16 - 74 (very sad), 4/16/16 - 77

@Zack Please don’t give up. You are so close. There are people on this forum who have taken over 40 exams to get their CPA license. Adjusting your schedule is ok. Take a couple weeks off, get your score, and go from there. Every time you study for a section, you retain more knowledge. And seriously, I was certain I failed Reg and Aud when I passed. You.will.pass.
