Based on personal experience, which would you suggest?

I'm tired of operating in fear and mediocrity. It's time to try. It's time to do. It's time to go.

Definitely make your own. You will remember it better when you hand-write them vs. downloading. Plus you can add your own notes and focus only on the topics you need to. I had hundreds of em by the time I was done; good to keep in the car for when you have a few minutes to burn

If you're willing to invest the time do it yourself. I bought mine. Hardly used them but then again for $7 it didn't really hurt.

    Here's my 2 cents…

I am using Becker and purchased the flashcards for each section. I started to use them but I found that they're not an efficient use of time for me so I haven't used them since and I've taken AUD and FAR…for me I feel like using flash cards (pure memorization) is the wrong approach because you really have to learn to respond to questions that are meant to trick you. I think you're much better off continually doing MCQs until it makes you sick to look at another MCQ 🙂

With that said, if you learn well from flashcards you could do both and just supplement any flashcards you purchase with handwritten ones although, I would tend to agree with @bigb_sd that you're much more likely to remember things that are handwritten.

    Good luck on your journey!

    FAR - 76
    AUD - 74, 74
    BEC - 83
    REG - TBD
