I’m looking into buying flashcards and would like to hear what the best deal is!!

My options so far are to either go with Ninja (i think it is about $35 for a year, for all four sections on the app)

Or Becker flashcards ($99, i think for all four parts?)

I am about to purchase the Becker four-part without any additional supplements.

This is mostly going to be a supplement to when I don’t have access to my computer.

    Thank you!!

Hey, not sure if you've ever heard of Quizlet but that app/ website lets you make your own flashcards for free. You can create your own flashcards, download them onto the Quizlet app and study on the go.

I've never used flashcards before but i'm using them for REG since this section is memorization heavy and it's been working great for me so far.

My advice is to make your own flash cards by hand. Everyone learns differently, but for me writing things out is WAY more effective than just reading the prepared material. Plus, it's easier to incorporate associations or drawings etc. that help me remember things better.

i purchased the flashcards from Roger when i bought his 4 part package. I never used them once. I know some people swear by flashcards, but to me they were not needed at all. Passed the exams pretty thoroughly and if i did it over again I'd pass on the 100 bucks or whatever the flashcards cost me.

    Good luck to you.

I'm giving another vote to making your own flashcards by hand. Yes, it is time-consuming, but the process of writing out the flashcards will almost certainly help the concepts stick. Plus you can really write them in a way that is understandable to you. I have the Wiley flashcards but I've never looked at them. I didn't use flashcards for FAR or AUD but I've been making my own for REG due to the sheer amount of memorization. I used flashcards all through my masters in accounting, so I do know that they are effective for me on certain topics.
