    Hi all,

    I’m in the process of starting a tax business and would like a seasoned CPA available for advice, etc. I’ve already have my first client (woohoo!!!) but the task is a bit above my level. I hate to turn away business already but want to be on point with my services. Does anyone know of an association or website where you can get a CPA mentor? I’d prefer to establish a relationship vs. a one time wuestion

    Look for the cpa association where you live (state). You can try the National Association of Tax Practitioners. Or build a relationship with a local cpa and make sure you tell them you are looking for a mentor to start a practice.

    @whopper,
    I have run my own business for almost 20 years. I am not a cpa (working on it ), but I can help with the tax stuff and even bookkeeping, if you like. Feel free to email me your questions at taxaffairs1224@gmail.com

    Thanks guys! I already reached out to some local CPA firms before seeing the replies but if something doesn't work, I'll get in touch with you. I appreciate your willing to help 🙂
