    Random question,

Are audit committee financial experts absolutely required? Or is it more of a recommendation/option to have one?

    Also,

For those that did really well on Audit sims and Far sims, are you guys putting “$0” is journal entrys that aren't necessarily required? I keep doing terrible in sims and Im not sure why. I guess this could be the reason.

I have been putting “$0” and maybe its counting against me?!..

    For example,….

    Debit Credit
    CASH 100 0
    INV 0 100

Should I keep the “$0” in or take them out?

Its been a while since I took AUD, but I am fairly certain that a financial expert is not required. However, if you do not have one then you have to disclose the fact that you do not have one.

As for putting “0's” or not on SIMS. Read the directions of the SIM and they will generally tell you whether to do that or not. If they don't say either way, I would just leave it blank.

    FAR - 80
    AUD - 82
    BEC - 80
    REG - 85

    ETHICS - 90
    EXPERIENCE - COMPLETE

Financial experts are not an absolute requirement, but if there isnt one, the company has to disclose why.
I always fill up 0s on blank spaces regardless of what the instruction says, and I had scored stronger on sims.
