Starting in early February (took a week off in mid February) I have completed 17 of 20 subunits.

Between early Feb and now I spent a total of 20 days on audit client site. So not much studying on those days, though I did finish 2 chapters within 10 days during the trip.

I have only agents and regulation, UCC (contracts for sales and secured transaction) and Debtor-creditor relationship (Bankruptcy) remaining.

Overall I would consider REG to be very very dry compared to BEC and AUD. It’s worse in the fact that some parts of the REG is complex and difficult to memorize but at least there are some rules to follow (property transaction, gains & loss/basis during transaction between shareholder vs corporate/partnership/s corp etc).

While some others are just pure memorization, such as AMT calculation and all these credit rules (how many you can deduct). The only credit rules I remember vividly before I began REG were ETC and American Opportunity Credit (I learned that during VITA training that you can only take one between AOC and Lifetime Learning Credit)

So, yeah, I have no idea how I’m gonna start the review process.

Hopefully I won’t get overwhelmed during the test in June.
