    I’m guessing most people here did their CPA exam while working full time. How did you fight the tiredness when you knew you had to get studying done? Interested to see how people got the energy to study during those couple hours after work, especially since caffeine at that time of night can be bad for sleep.

    Study in the early morning. You'll be a lot more alert.

    I did both late night studying and early morning to pass these monsters. Early morning got me through the last two exams. I was so much more alert studying before work. I would sometimes study at night too but mostly I had my nights open.

    Totally did not read the other posts. But I really suggest just waking up early to study. From now on to my test, I'm forcing myself to wake up at 8 (not as bad as it sounds since I wake up earlier while working) and start studying before 10 on weekends. Studying after noon sucks unless you have caffeine.

    Also, continually hydrate yourself. You DO go to the bathroom more, but it's good for you. Also, take a break after 3 hours. Your brain needs rest too.

    Also, I like to snack on fruits as well.

    I dont recommend it because of the weight gain, but sugar. Gumballs mostly. I cant do caffeine (it makes me jittery and not in a good way)

    I actually had to stop drinking coffee as it was interfering with my sleep.

    I never know how much energy I'll have after work, so I try and get as much as I can done in the morning

    Pop a 5 hour energy around 5/6p and you should be good for the night…

    @golfball

    soooo excited to try this caffeine nap- woo hoo!

    i echo what somebody said about caffeine losing its effectiveness. i drank sooo many energy drinks throughout my studying process that at this point the taste just signals to the brain, “ok, study time now!” whether it really keeps me alert or its the associative placebo affect i have no idea
