So far I have gotten through these MCQ sections: Individual Taxation, Taxation of Entities, and Tax Process. So far I have not seen anything on FICA, FUTA, SUTA (I know this is state so may not apply). Do I need to cover these for the exam? Have I missed something in my Ninja study program or is it introduced in another section? If anyone has thoughts on this, I would appreciate it. Thanks for the help and sorry if this is a foolish question.

FICA – Yes. it is an 1/2 adjustment to AGI for self-employed.

FUTA – Very basic information. For example it is paid by the employer.

Both of these are in the NINJA MCQ's. I have completed a ton of them and volume is probably why you haven't seen them yet. Keep grinding.

Thanks for the response. I thought I would have to try to figure it out on my own. I didn't want to be surprised at the exam if that came up and I wasn't expecting it. Where in the MCQs are those topics. I have already gone through all Taxation of Individuals questions (268), Taxation of Entities questions (420), and Federal Tax Process questions (168) and haven't seen them yet. Under what question topics would it be? I know I will get to it soon because I am going through section by section and doing every single MCQ.

I am not sure how you missed them… I do sets of 30 to 100 from all chapters combined. You would think they be in taxation of individuals. I guess Jeff could better answer that question.

there are fica questions in ninja mcq. have you attempted all individual tax questions? they are with self employment tax questions and some generic Sch H questions for household/domestic employees.
