Feeling lost

I am in my 2nd year of taxes and all of accounting. I am a little late to the game as I am 30 years old, but just finished school 2 years ago just before starting. At times I feel lost and overwhelmed. I know I am new and have a LOT of things to learn (all 3 accountants are over the age of 58 and the EA is 42) so I judge myself, unfairly, on their knowledge. At times I even wonder if accounting is a good fit or just a skill for another job. Also makes the CPA look like Mt. Everest.

Any advice or encouragement that this is kind of normal?!?

Embrace their experience and learn as much as you can from them. Show them you are eager to learn and what you can do. Ask them for help when you need it. You are fortunate to have such wonderful resources available to you!
