    Ok, nothing pertinent to read here, other than I can’t fathom how people remember it all to pass. I’m only on unit #7 in Gleim, and I’m struggling to remember all of this stuff. Feeling a bit dejected. Test not scheduled for a while, but I’m not feeling good about my chances.

    Keep at it! The goal is not to remember it all. You just need to know a little bit about everything!

    FAR - 75 (2/25/16)
    AUD - 80 (4/8/16)
    REG - 80 (6/10/16)
    BEC - 79 (7/19/16)

    I'll give you a tip for FAR in Gleim. Put a lot of time into the last 4 units of FAR because they are GNP topics and comprises a a big chunk on the exam, both mcq's and SIM's. You will glad you did on exam time.

    @Skynet:

    Thank you! I will take that tip under advisement. Hard as heck, plus all of this IFRS crap! Lol

    @theunexperienced:

    Thank you as well. My scores in these past 3-4 units have stunk, and then you are forced to move on, or risk falling way behind. Hanging in there though.

    I know man I just started government NFP today and I already forgot a lot of other stuff like cost/equity stuff. I know they will be easy to come back but just a lot of info to take in. Good Luck though

    It comes together at a certain point. When you start doing stuff that makes you remember the stuff in the other areas, like Statement of Cash Flows, or consolidations. You HAVE to understand how equity method works when you work consolidation problems, actually, you have to do a lot to know consolidations. I dislike this chapter immensely.

    My advice is to take it day by day. Try not to get too overwhelmed and when you do, take a little breather. Maybe go over some of what you've learned so far in the day mentally while doing something else that maybe requires a little less capacity. I didn't pass the first time because I couldn't put in the time, so make sure that you are giving yourself plenty of time to go over the materials.

    I don't understand your question. Are you asking if consolidations is in a lot of stuff? If so, then yeah. I'd like to think so. I'm using Roger and he has 6 sims on this one chapter and according to my other friends, who's taken FAR twice, saw consolidation questions AND sims on their tests.
