Hi all,

So I have passed REG and BEC, and just took AUD a couple weeks ago and don’t get that score until August 7 (ugh). I’m now on to FAR (didn’t want to waste any time sitting around for my AUD score). The size of the book is daunting, and the modules are taking me a while to get through as I’m trying to really learn everything as I go instead of trying to relearn everything during my last couple weeks of review. Does anyone have any tips that keep them focused and motivated while studying for FAR? This is my last exam (assuming I passed AUD) and my motivation is dwindling after a long year of grad school and studying for these exams.

Think about the benefits you will reap once successfully passing all the exams. Write down all the reasons why you want to become a CPA and read it when you dont feel like studying or losing motivation. Studying FAR is definitely daunting but with your other scores, you should be fine.

I'm not sure if this would be helpful for you, but what worked for me was to do about 10 to 15 questions every day of modules that I had already studied so that I didn't forget the material. Otherwise I would forget the material that I already covered. Good luck on your AUD test results. FAR is a beast, but keep reminding yourself all the work that you have put into this so far and how good it will feel when you pass all four parts.
