Hello All,
I am putting together a 6 week study plan for FAR but was hoping to get some input from others on the board who are more familiar with this section. Long story short, I need to take FAR by the end of November. Unlike other sections I am more familiar with, I don’t know the best way to tackle the 10 different Becker chapters (i.e. with REG I would know to focus more on Ch 1-5 vs 6-8 knowing that Tax covers more of the exam than BLaw). I’ve seen other posts on FAR and how some of the final Becker chapters are just as important, etc. so I figure a key to my success is not just the studying but how and when I do it.
I have the full Becker suite – the normal course, the final review and flashcards. I’ve been working in Accounting professionally a few years, including a few with technical accounting so I am hoping some of my real-life experience can translate on the material.
With all that said – could anyone provide me some advice/tips/guidelines on how best to break up the material? I have about 2 hours a day on a bus for my commute and get home around 8PM every evening from the office. Weekends I’ve left generally free for the time frame in order to have more free time for the books.
Thanks everyone in advance!
