FAR score went up but score breakdown was worse?

I’m just really happy my FAR score went up as I thought I bombed that exam. Although my score breakdown was worse than the first time…so maybe it’s a fluke? Has anyone had a similar experience?

    Anyways, back to studying!

I wouldn't worry too much about that. To my understanding, I think those breakdowns are only based on a sample of questions from the exam you took, and not all questions. So it could be likely that the sample they took had more of the wrong answers compared to the amount you may have answered correctly. Congrats on an increase in your score though!

This is true. Thank you! Now for round three, third time's the charm 🙂

Keep up the positive attitude @animalwithin, now that you've seen the exam twice you should definitely feel a bit more prepared for what to expect. Just curious which review course you're using to study and what your strategy has been so far?

    FAR - 78*
    AUD - 66, 79
    REG - 73, 76
    BEC - 79

Thank you! I'm using Roger for textbook/notes and questions and I'm using NINJA for videos, audio, and questions.

I start out by reading the book and highlighting important parts. I then go back and take notes and start drilling questions. Any questions I miss I write down the explanation for them. Rinse and repeat. At some point I start dedicating lots of time to my weak areas when I get a good idea of what I'm weak at. At this point in FAR, I'm rewriting notes and drilling questions nonstop and attacking weaknesses.

I'm honestly shocked my score went up. I thought this most recent exam was much harder than the first time I took FAR. I felt the MCQs were harder as were the SIMs and was expecting a much lower score.
