    I have Far next week and I’m really struggling with what to review. I am using Becker and I feel like the MCQ are just so much math and nothing conceptual.

    I am just not sure what to do. The other test have just been much easier for me to grasp.

    I use Becker as well.
    I agree, other sections have less material to learn.”
    I also sit for FAR next week…..

    chapter 1 through 10:
    1. my notes
    2. index cards
    3. progress test…..as it gets closer to the exam date lower your time on notes…and just practice MCQ….(if you got it wrong for a silly mistake…learn from it and move on)….if, you got it wrong because you don't know the material or not understanding it at all…..MOVE ON….you should not try to learn few days before the exam.

    Governmental & NFP. These comprises a big chunk of the exam. Know the journal entries for them too. Good Luck.

    Govt/NFP is an easy way to get points. That was the ONLY part of FAR that I can honestly say was cake.

    Govt/NFP/IFRS are the three consistent topics I see people stressing on here. I failed in July with a 72 and my score breakdown detailed it was due to Govt/NFP/Framework, Overview, and Statements(I'm pretty sure IFRS falls under this), so they were right.

    @Bear-Bear
    how did you nail Govt/NFP because it's definitely not cake for me right now. It's more like mud or coal. I have round 2 in October and have to do whatever it takes to get a good grasp on Govt/NFP and move on with my life!
