    Hello,

Wondering if someone can kindly provide some advices on whether I should tackle far or REG with six weeks left (3/9) with around 50 hours/week full time job….plus two hours commute to work on weekday. I’ve studied REG on and off for about three weeks before Christmas but wasn’t really motivated so wouldn’t really count that as studying . fAR is more relevant to my job and tax is something totally new to me. For both REg and far I am planning to start fresh this year. I’ve scheduled an exam on last day of q1 (3/9) and will start studying today, but still can’t decide what I should take first with all the changes happening in q3 (new tax law and new rev recognition for far?)Is six weeks too short for FAR? Would REG be more doable? And should I focus on REG before all the new tax rules becomes testable ?

Thanks in advance for your help, any suggestions are appreciated !

REG is by far the most manageable as far as content. However, I would caution you not to sit for an exam that you dont feel you can prepare for in time. That is a recipe for a retake. Obviously you know yourself best and your study habits so I will say REG is probably your best bet for 6 weeks.

    Best of luck!

REG is easier but equally massive amount of content. That said, I'd schedule a test date but if you aren't ready, just wait for the next window. 6 weeks is ambitious for someone working. I wasn't working and needed more than 6 weeks for FAR and REG.

    BEC: 85
    REG: 74, 78
    AUD: 86
    FAR: October?

Thank you two for your replies. I think I will start studying for REG and see how it goes. I will start listening to Ninja audio on my two hours commute to work mon-fri. Any tips/strategies for reg studying is appreciated. Thanks again! 🙂
