After dreading taking FAR for my 1st attempt at becoming a CPA, I was surprised how confident I felt afterwards. The 1st testlet took me about 50 minutes to complete but wasn’t terribly difficult. Alot of time spent knowing the two best answers, just trying to identify the correct one lol. 2nd testlet I flagged the first couple of questions, noticeably more difficult than the 1st but doable. I left myself with 2.5 hours for Sims and that was plenty enough. IMO, practice for Sims is strictly knowing the material inside outside for said subject. I’ve read the forum for a couple of years now and I must say after taking the exam yesterday, pass or fail, I look forward to obtaining those three letters. I’m so glad I had the balls to just take the exam not being fully prepared. Good luck to all and let’s get the CPA designation together!!

Thanks for sharing your experience. there is no way to know if you passed until you get those results. You've studied and studied hard, you took the test, now you have to wait for score release. Many felt they passed and didn't, many felt they bombed but passed so it's just time to wait and get ready for the next episode. Good luck to you.

    It begins with a 75

I had a very similar experience. Definitely feeling optimistic, but not super confident, I don't want to be too disappointed if I fail. The countdown is killing me!

I feel like if I would've drilled down on 3 topics a little bit more, I would feel confident of a score in the 90s
