Hey Ninjas! I have my second attempt at FAR on 4/20. I’m using Becker and my first attempt at FAR resulted in a 70. I honestly believe a 70 was luck because I did not understand the concepts well. I am redoing the home works and using online videos to sorta supplement my studying. I am finishing up chapter 6 today. I left my job to study for this full time. Do you guys think I am cutting it short in finishing up the remaining chapters by 4/20 and maybe getting in 2 days of review?

It probably depends on your learning style. I failed FAR in the 70s twice before passing. Third time I spent the least amount of calendar time studying. In between my last fail and my pass I took AUD, studied for three weeks, passed first time. It gave me the confidence to just get it done within the shorter time frame I had set for myself. For me it's a mental thing ( which took me three times to figure out). Questioning and postponing made me lazy, relatively. Sticking to my scheduled test time-I passed.
Review it all. Give yourself credit-no one gets a 70 by luck. Then focus on what you were weak on. My weakness was largely NFP and Gov. Third time I began studying those. I didn't move on to reviewing any other material until I had solidly mastered those. Annnnddddddd I'll say it for the 100th time, invest in ninja mcq for review if it's at all possible. I am 100% convinced I would not have passed all of these without them.

Thanks for your insight. I agree with you that it's extremely mental. Way to be head strong on FAR and congrats on all your other exams.

All the concepts/chapters that I've gone through thus far, I feel like I have mastered. Where as for my first attempt I kept telling myself that I would understand it come review time. If I take it after the 20th I would have to wait until the 24th of May for my results and I think I would be torn waiting while studying for AUD. Thanks again!
