Is FAR a lot of trial and error like REG? I am going through it now and get discouraged by lots of wrong answers while doing MCQ. I am only on F1-3/4 of Becker. Being my 3rd day of studying again I do understand I am slowly getting back into the mix but feel little to no hope.

    Will this subside?

    BEC- 77
    AUD – 70, 75
    REG – 73, 5/22
    FAR – Q3

@wannafree I am also taking FAR and currently in section F5. What do you mean by vast and easy cause it seems like a lot as I go through it. I'm just looking for a little more reassurance as well because it seems like a lot and as I learn this material its a frustrating process.

@alloutofkuai , let me explain what I mean with reference to AUD.In AUD you have just 6 chapters and you may find very easy but in AUD you have to read words of each line very carefully .The words are the key and it's very confusing to recall the things in exam e.g whether this line was in report of x or y ,whether this is true for attestation or compilation etc.
In that context FAR has 10 chapters but you will not get confused between Inventory and fixed assets. One confusion is there ( GAAP vs IFRS ) but more and more GAAP is trying to align with IFRS you are qualified okay there.
Now if you try to watch the monologue of Tim Gearty ( I am big fan of Tim ) or read the Becker's book you may think it's ocean but it's not.
Try solving questions ( MCQ ) either on Becker's or Ninja MCQ or Gliem or freeCPA and read the answer and take your own notes.
Believe me you don't need to read 1000 pages of Becker's , you just need to read the topic which u don't know.
This is one suggestion from my own experience if you feel Becker's is too much , try to buy Gliem book ( on ebay it's cheap ) and keep aside Becker's for some time till you finish the Gliem or Ninja Book. Once done with all chapter's of Gliem ( 30 X20 =600 total ) come back to Becker's and this time you will find Becker's very easy.
    Hope it will help.
Disclaimer : Again scholars,I am big fan of Tim Gearty

@WannaFree AUD was definitely the hardest for me so far it never got to the point for me at least, BEC I started and finished studying before working and did not test til a month after. REG was a lot of information but it was straightforward I just did not have enough time to study first go.

I'm studying for my FAR retake. I've used BECKER prior but i think i got overwhelmed. This time I'm using the BISK videos and once i'm done, i'll go through NINJA MCQ.
    I hope this is it!
