1koolcat I feel your pain.
I'm in the FAR 74 club and this one really hurt because it had one liner MCQs and the vast majority of the SIMS were stuff I knew well. It was hard to get bogged down in misunderstanding the questions or having information overload.
On my first FAR take I bombed one SIM completely and the MCQs were very wordy. In other words, the 74 test was passable had I known some obscure details that were in 2 lines of the review book the size of a telephone book. Two MCQs and 1 SIM were on that topic so I am convinced had I known that thing I would have been pushed over the top. My first test was much harder overall; for me at least.
Good God kemmi22, you are one tough individual to survive 74 3x.
I looked at my 74 last night and could not sleep because I am now in a do or die to keep BEC and finish in Q2.
I tossed and turned for hours thinking about what to do. I probably fell asleep around 5:30 and was back up at 7.
People at work have been supportive. Last night I first felt disappointed, then I had anxiety, and finally apathy this morning. Now I need to get mad and focused. I put 2.5 years and several thousands of dollars into changing careers and I am 3/4 of the way there with the test.
This form is the best. The encouragement and knowledge you get from the experience of others is excellent.
Best of luck to all.
