Took the AUD exam on the 9th, just found out I got a 71. My MCQ trending was 83 and average was 69. 2767 attempted questions, 31:29 total hours.

I have already started studying for the REG exam which I will take for the first time on the 28th of October. After that a retake of FAR on Dec 9th (70 last time)

I’m thinking about retaking AUD on Nov 4th which gives me a week to review and study rather than waiting to take it again in January. Any opinions on this? I want to take it while this info is still pretty fresh in my head but don’t want to take too much time and miss FAR study time.

Based on my actual 71, trending 83 and avg 69. Do you think a week is enough time to get 4 more points?

Obviously, this will come down to personal preference as well as what your home life looks like (Full time job? wife? kids? How much study time per day can you do?).
I think it's a bit of a fallacy to think that you “only missed by 4 points” and that you can just hit the books for a week and get a 75. There were clearly some concepts that you didn't fully grasp or an area(s) that you weren't fully informed about. With MCQ Results like that, I'd recommend picking up the Wiley Test Bank so you can attack a different set of MCQs that you aren't familiar with.
Personally, I'd recommend scheduling AUD for December 10 and pushing FAR back to Q1 2017. I say this as a full time employee with a wife and children though. If you can crank out 8 hours of studying a day then you're probably fine…
You're essentially trying to pass 3 exams in a single quarter and that's something a lot of people on this board would kill to do!

    Far: 49
    BEC: 79 (Expired)
    AUD: 51, 67, 64
    REG: 59, 64, 59, 69

The Wiley test bank is a good idea. I did think at the end of the MCQ I definitely knew some answers just form pure repetition, I hoped that a month break from then would erase that muscle memory.

My biggest concern is the exam changes in Q2 2017. If i fail any of these next tests I have Q1 to try again. If I wait I will only have the 1 shot.

Problem is you don't need 4 more points you need 75 more.

I highly recommend treating a retake like its your first time and not believing that you're going to retain much of anything from the last time.

Is it possible? Sure. Likely, not at all.
