Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you feel like your eyesight is getting worse after studying months for the CPA exam? Before I started studying, I never had to wear glasses regularly, but now its harder to see as clear as I use to and require glasses for most things. I try to step away from the computer every hour or so, but sometime I get so busy and so into my work, I forget. This is combined with sitting in front of a computer everyday at work also.

Yes! I had near perfect vision and now need glasses. Blue light cancelling glasses helped a lot.

Same here.. in addition to all the weight I've gained lol. I will have to ask my eye doctor about the blue light canceling glasses!

Same here, I do feel my eyes bothering me more often (I'm only 29). But I have blue light cancelled on my Mac 24/7 as well as my PC. Also not spending hours on the computer is important. Alternate between periods of computer use and periods of no computer use.

Jeff eyes and beard on A71 is so mesmerizing that it's really hard to look away from the computer on A71 😀

As Roger said, studying for the CPA will likely result in blindness so make sure you have a good glasses from the beginning 🙂

I recommend trying out f.lux software. It's a small program that changes the color of your display. A lot of our phones now have a blue light filter that we can switch on. Flux does the same thing. It helps to alleviate eye strain. https://justgetflux.com/
