Hi guys,
So I just took audit and unfortunately failed, ironically with “another 71” (2nd time in a row). My BEC score expires September 30. Now I know I don’t have to be extremely concerned, because if I just pass the next try I have nothing to worry about.
Here’s the thing, if I don’t pass on this next try, the scores are released on August 15 and the last test date in q3 is September 10. So say I am able to get in for the Sept 10 test date, I only have 3 1/2 weeks to study.
I’ve looked at Ohio’s board of accountancy website and nothing seems to answer my question regarding an extension on expiring exams. With the old system, I would be able to take the test once in April-May, and then another time in July-August with ample study time. But with the new format they’re really making that Sept 10 test a tough one.
I hate to be worrying about possibly failing AGAIN, but just curious if anyone in Ohio has insight on how they plan on handling expiring exams during this new testing period. Thanks
