Expiring Credit

I was really hoping to put this behind me but life had other plans – between Audit and Regulation I’m surprised I haven’t had a heart attack yet.

Planning to hit audit hard again and since that is my last exam I’m not going to rush through it. I have FAR expiring on 08/31/2018 – planning to sit for audit about a week before that.

Question is this – As long as I sit before the exam expires I’m good right? Score releases won’t come out until September.

I’m worried because my BEC pass from yesterday says that the score was received today. So if my audit score isn’t “received” until September I DO NOT want to have to retake FAR.

Should I email my state board to confirm and have it in writing? The administrative process of the exams alone gives me anxiety 🙁

I believe if you take on or before the exam credit expires, you should be fine. I am also in same situation. I passed all parts but i received Audit score after exam expired even though i took that exam before the expiration date. I also emailed by board-WA with same concerns. Hopefully they will say the same thing, if not i am screwed.

yes if you sat for the exam prior to the expiration date and passed it, even if the score release comes after the expiration date, you should be just fine.

@Madhav – I'm in WA too. I went ahead and emailed them. I transferred from Kansas because KS has a residency requirement that I no longer met, my experience with the WA coordinator through that process wasn't great due to un-responsiveness so hopefully they will respond to both of us!

I don't see how it can't be fine – but I try not to make assumptions!
