I think we need one of these threads to balance the universe. Enough of these people who thought they failed and passed.

@ImmoKnight Congrats on passing AUD. There is a difference between when you think you really failed and when you think you have a chance to pass. That was case with me on FAR. I was not sure but thought I had some chance and I passed with 79. I also thought I passed AUD but ended up with 72 due to weaker performance on SIMS. I re-took AUD exam in April 2016. This time I did better on simulations than last time. I hope to pass it this time.. Fingers crossed….

IMmo I was talking about people who consistently score in the 90's on the other parts of the CPA exam – not the 70-90's score crowd.

Track HA! Well, not ha, cause you failed, but because I bet that's the norm.

When it comes to retakes though, clearly you rock. What's the secret there?

Like you said, it was a retake. The 3 times I used only Gleim I failed. The 3 times I added Ninja MCQ I passed.

BEC was the odd man. It covers less material so I was able to complete both the Gleim course and all the MCQ's. But normally there is not enough time.

    AUD - 74, 99 !!
    REG - 74, 92
    BEC - 83
    FAR - 73, 86

I have Gleim. I actually like their test bank. But as you point out, maybe it's a combination of the two that's best.

Gleim has 2600 questions for reg and I have around 5 weeks. That's about 100 a day for me which is a lot for me.

I was pretty sure that I failed FAR and REG at the first time because I didn't study much. I was very sure that I passed FAR, and I passed with an 82. For REG, I wasn't as confident as FAR and had doubt about REG, but I passed with an 86. For aud, I have a mixed feeling. I feel I am going to squeeze by and I def have a doubt about it. I came back home checked few answers and knew that I have at least two mcq are wrong, I am pretty confident with SIM. At this point, I don't even know my feeling, and we will see on Tuesday morning.

    Reg 7/10/2015, 60, 2/27/2016, 86
Aud, 5/9/2016, 74 (ouch), 7/26/2016, I cannot wait to take this test again
    Bec, 6/10/2016, 70,9/8 retake

The test is very odd. There are countless posts here of people who were sure they failed but passed with 80+.

My second attempt at FAR I felt a whole lot better than my first take. I felt like I had a good shot at passing and got the worst score possible for your morale; 74.

FAR is only 3 days away and I am just burned out on this material.

When I took AUD the first time I really thought I had passed, only to be disappointed with the dreaded 74. Scheduled a retake 6 weeks later and ended up with 95!

    BEC 2/24/2015 78
    FAR 2/4/2016 88
    AUD 5/5/2016 95

I'll kick it off for the May 24 release- thought I failed FAR and did- I knew as I was sitting there laughing at how horrible the SIMS were that I had already failed it… So no big shock when I checked the scores and there sat my 61….

and they ask me why I drink...

FAR- 61-next time I'll ask for lube instead of a calculator
REG-75- Never been so happy to see such a low grade
    BEC- 8/11
    AUD- 9/2

Adding my BEC fail in the mix. I expected to fail (not bomb) and I did :(. If I can just pass one section the first time around it would be lovely. FAR would be my last chance at that.

    AUD - 1st - 60 (12/12), 61 (2/13), 61 (8/13), 78! (11/15)
    REG - 55 (2/16) 69 (5/16) Retake(8/16)
    BEC - 71(5/16) Retake (9/16)
    FAR - (8/16)
