Hello all, I’m sorry if this was discussed already, but I’m pretty clueless as to what is going on with the reschedule of exams that were supposed to be taken yesterday but cancelled (by Prometric) because of the snow storm on the east coast.

I called the testing center and was told that I would “get a call or email notifying me of a new date and time for my test,” for which there would obviously be no charge. I tried to reschedule the test myself through Prometric’s website, but received error messages after every attempt to do so. I’m concerned that the new date and time will inevitably be in the middle of a weekday (currently interning full time), and will force me to scramble to find another Saturday slot. I am also done studying, so it is dragging that I have to keep going at the study materials in order stay at the level that I want to for this test.

Did anyone else have their test cancelled yesterday and is also in limbo for a new appointment date and time?

My November exam was cancelled due to weather. I tried going to the “change appointment” screen, but it kept popping up with error messages. What you need to do is go to the “schedule my exam” screen (like you never registered for your 1/23 exam) and pick a new exam date and time. Hope that works for you!

When my Saturday exam was cancelled due to weather (back in 2013), I remember checking the available appointments everyday. I managed to reschedule the cancelled exam the next Saturday, 1 week later, at the last minute.

BananaPancakes is right–don't go to the reschedule screen. You need to treat this like you are scheduling for the first time because your appointment was cancelled. My AUD was cancelled last year and I was told I would receive an email AND and phone call when I would be able to reschedule. I only received the email, no phone call. Also, I was told Prometric would be opening dates in March (exam cancelled Feb 26, 2015), but I never saw any evidence of that. I was able to snag a 2/28 exam date, but I had to look at testing centers in 3 states and I had to stay overnight in a hotel. You have some time before the window closes. If you can't find a Saturday date, keep checking every day. People are always rescheduling and dates do come available, but not for long.
