Hey all, I just took my first exam so I don’t know much about the operations style of Prometric- if they “turned-in” my exam by Feb 29th at midnight then scores will be released on March 9th. If not then it’ll be March 18th. How efficient are they? I’m anxious!

    Thanks!

You'll have your score March 9th. Pretty sure Prometic sends the exam to the AICPA immediately since they don't have to grade them or anything.

FAR: 80 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)
REG: 87 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)
BEC: 87 (Gleim, Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs)

I took my first exam yesterday as well. According to the AICPA score release page, most of the results should be available on March 9th as long as they receive our exams by midnight tonight. They claim that a majority of them are received within 24 hours, but I'm a little nervous since I took mine in the afternoon.

When I took REG November 30th of last year, I took it at 6:00 PM and out of state (live in AL, took the test in GA), yet I received my score on time. I was nervous about being delayed as well. In fact, I also started a thread myself. What section did you take? If it's BEC, I think there might be a chance it could be delayed, but even so, I think you are still likely to receive it on time. If you took any other section, I'd say you definitely shouldn't have any issues.

    AUD - 85 (8/30/2015)

    BEC - 83 (11/04/2015)
    REG - 81 (11/30/2015)

I agree – you should have your score on the 9th. One of the staff at Prometric sent my test out as I was signing out before leaving. They were sending them out immediately so they wouldn't have a backlog – nearly everyone at my center was taking CPA exams.

    BEC - 88 8/29/15
    REG - 82 11/14/15
    AUD - 83 1/8/16
    FAR - 80 2/29/16

Thank you for the reassurance, everyone. I took audit and had a similar exam experience to many others on this site- hopefully that means that we all passed!

I was also wondering the same thing But given that I am on the west coast (California) and took the exam at 6:00pm, and BEC for that matter, I think i will be waiting for a March 19th score release.

I am curious, however, about the people who took the exam on the last day of testing window and who did not receive their scores on the first score release date. Did you have to wait until the second score release date, or if there is any possibility of getting scores after first schedule score release but before second?

^rawzkee, obviously I don't really know a lot about this process, but i think you still have a good shot of getting your score on March 9th. I believe I've read somewhere that you might be delayed if you are “on the bubble”, so to speak, meaning you are on the verge of passing or failing. But I don't know how accurate that actually is. Just what I've read.
