Exam schedule question

So, I’ve scheduled FAR for 5/28 and thought I’d use the Prometric seat availability tool to see what would be open for AUD towards the end of August. WOW!!!! I prefer Saturdays and in my city, those are all ready booked. For the last part of August???? WTH?!

It seems like it’s so far away – 5 months until the end of August. So, why is it booked so far in advance for AUD? I kind of hated even thinking about scheduling AUD so far out before I even know if I can pass FAR. If I don’t pass FAR, I feel like I should retake it as quickly as I can.

Would look forward to any insight or thoughts of others. Thanks in advance!

I would continually check the system, because it updates everyday. If you're in a well-populated area, I would consider driving a little further to find the centers with dates available. I know a former manager of mine drove to San Diego (which is a good 2 hours away) just to take an exam on Sunday. So, I would start looking at other farther test centers for availability.

    Good luck!

People like to test at the end of the testing window (August being one of those months) so it makes sense that it would fill up early, but not this early. That seems really odd to me. My advice in this situation is just to take it one test at a time. You sound like me when I first started, I wanted to have each one planned out before even taking the section before. You may very well smoke the exams on your first try, but I'm telling you sometimes sh*t happens and you may have a wrench thrown in your plans. I always wait for my scores before making a move on my next exams. But maybe look for another Prometric in the area? It seems really weird that August is already full.
