So today was my REG exam and I was a no show! I am totally unprepared in every way. I thought about going anyway and attempt the exam knowing I would fail but to get a feel of the new test format etc. but I know if I failed it this cycle I would have to wait until October and that was too long a wait. Did I make the right choice? (I know, a little too late)

So you're saying that since you were a no show you can get another NTS for the same section in the same window?

    BEC - 79
    REG - 85
    AUD - 5/27/16

I almost did the same thing with my AUD exam until I read the rules. You needed to cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled test time in order to get another NTS this testing window. You will have to wait until next window.

    From NASBA's website:

What if a conflict arises after I have scheduled an appointment to take the examination?
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment by contacting Prometric. There is no fee for canceling or rescheduling an appointment at least 30 days in advance. If you cancel or reschedule between five and 30 days before your appointment, you must pay a fee directly to Prometric. If you reschedule within five days of your appointment, you will be required to pay the full Prometric testing fee for the section you are rescheduling. See the Candidate Bulletin for additional information regarding these fees. You cannot make any changes to your appointment less than 24 hours in advance. You will have to contact the Board/agency to which you originally applied to register again.

My NTS expires today anyway. This was the last day I could use it, so I couldn't have rescheduled.

I did that in May of 2016, no show.I already sent my NTS reapplication within that week. The Board could not process it until the date it expires for no-show. I had IBS from March till May last year, there was no way to prepare and pass any test at that point in time. I was able to take the test on the 10th of June of last year.

    Good luck to you!
