Has anyone ever had an exam cancelled due to weather? I live in MD and received notice that my exam tomorrow (12/9) is cancelled. I was wondering if anyone got an extension on the testing window so I don’t have to wait until the next testing window (January) to take my exam.

Unfortunately December test dates are already an extension of the window that typically ends November 30. I've never seen them extend an extended window but hoping they'll do something for you.

I've had a similar situation happen to me in Florida due to Irma. I attempted to reschedule my test a couple of days prior to avoid missing my exam but still couldn't sit for my test. If you can't sit by the 10th, you will unfortunately have to wait until the next testing period

This is bad news. How do we contact prometric/state board on a weekend?

I’m on the same boat. There is no nearby testing center available for me. I chat with Prometric customer service, and representative advise me to schedule for the next quarter. I’m like no it’s not my fault. The weather is just colder than usual here. I’m waiting until Monday to call NASBA. We should call NASBA to ask them to extend the testing window for us who are affected by the weather. Weather is unpredicted, and we should be accomodated for that. If I knew the weather would be like this, I would have scheduled the week before to save me from all the trouble. This site closure messes up my plan. And I’m sure it is messing up a lot of people’s plan also. I took off work to study and get ready for the test. Now I’m just idle on the test day..

I called the Prometric number (1-800-853-6769) at 9 am and was able to schedule at an open testing center in Delaware (im in NJ) for 9 am tomorrow morning. It appears that the majority of testing centers near me are also already closed tomorrow or do not have availability.

All this over an expected 1-3 inches.

I need to get an attempt in this testing window.

    Calm down guys.

I am pretty sure those affected by this cancellation will be able to reschedule next week for CPA tests not later than December 20th this year.

How do you talk to a real person dialing the number? I just get a voicemail saying the office is closed.

Anyone able to actually talk to someone calling that number? Get pushed through a loop for like 5 minutes then it says they don't recognize my confirmation number – assuming that is because i was supposed to take my test in 6 hours.

Is anyone scheduled for the exam tomorrow (Dec 10th) in New Castle, DE? I understand they are closed today, but does anyone have information on tomorrow?

I am scheduled for tomorrow morning at New Castle DE – I am very nervous about what all of this means for us @IamBlessed. Please post any updates as you see them and I will do the same!
