Today I took my first exam BEC. I clearly didn’t read the testing center’s website, otherwise I would have known not to erase.
When I got to the center, I went through the metal detector scan, put my stuff in the locker, got my fingerprints, got my whiteboard and then sat down. I then went back into the main lobby and asked the lady if I could have tissues for my dry erase board. She said “no” and then mumbled something to herself.
So during the exam when I ran out of space, I erased with my finger. Halfway through my first TBS another woman comes in and brings me tissues. Nice, I don’t have to use my finger anymore.
Leave for my 15 min break and the lady that I originally asked the tissues for says that I was supposed to bring the whiteboard to her and have her erase it. I told her the other woman gave me tissues and she said it was because I “made a mess” from erasing with my finger. She then wrote “Tissues” on my sign-in form.
My question is: What should I do? What will happen? I don’t want my score to be nullified because I erased. Any help is appreciated!
