I got 35 on FAR, I was studying 3 months.. i don really know what to do now where to pick up the pieces, should just give up and decide that a CPA path is defiantly not for me. I started with Far that was my first cpa exam, I can’t even tell how miserably i failed. So i decided to ask you guys… Have you ever heard or experience that someone got the score so law as me, but then actually passed. Please share.

I think you are in a better position than those who did HW at 95% and end up got 50 in the exam.

I am a strong believer than anyone who is intelligent enough to complete the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam is 100% smart enough to pass the exam. Time and time again you'll hear people say it is a test of will and not intelligence – and that could not be more true. So if were able to complete 150 collegiate units to sit for these exams, you can pass them if you put the time and effort in. I say time AND effort because just spending time around the material does not make you pass either. It takes consistent and focused study sessions for as long as your brain can take it day-in and day-out for months on-end. I'm not saying you aren't committed because I have failed exams too, and I can assure you that I've put my heart and soul into this for about 10 months now. Every damn day. But when failure happens, that true test of will kicks in. Do you have what it takes to get back on the horse and put everything you have into building that score into a 75 next time? Because it really is as simple as that. People can give you all the advice in the world on what study habits to use, but at the end of the day you just need to really think and figure out what works for you. Thats what this whole process is about, THINKING. Are you really learning when you study or just mindlessly flipping through MCQs that you already know so that you can see a reassuring score on your practice materials? I've been on both ends of that and I can tell you what really works. Be honest with yourself, and don't get lost in a rhythm where you're no longer gaining from it. Keep your mind active and try to learn something new about the material everyday. Don't doubt for one second that you can do this because you can, but the only person who can make it happen is you. Its not easy at all, in fact its damn hard, but if your sitting for these tests you can pass them if you put the effort in. Give them hell next time!

@larzetme Don't be disappointed and keep moving. In my first FAR experience, I also feel very bad and have a low score. Try again and we can finish it in last. The most important thing is never give up.
