I failed FAR yesterday, with a 64, ouch. Does anyone know how long it will take to receive the email from NASBA saying the breakdown of which sections I bombed?

That email is pointless. It tells you how you did against other test takers. Just b/c you did worse in a section doesn't mean you did bad. And also b/c you did better in one doesn't mean you did good :).

ie. If you scored a 75 in section but majority of others did 85, you scored worse

If you scored a 40 but others did 20, you scored better.

To some extent I agree with you EuroAddict. But it provides us some kind of guidance per se to brush up on some weak areas. I am too waiting for the breakdown of my Audit section. I know the report is not completely objective but it does tell us some areas we need to improve our understanding I guess.

They are not worth the paper they are printed on…..regardless, you need to treat your retake like you are taking it for the first time.

I know the report usually comes the next day after score release, but if you got a passing score, does it take longer than 1 day?

Martin, the last 2 exams that I passed I received the notification that I had passed around noon the following day.

Thanks, the reason I was asking is because when I passed FAR it took longer than 3 days to get the report. Also, on the passing score, I only received the first page with no breakdown.
