    Hey everyone,

i finished all of my parts last year. now i am working on finishing 150 credits and work experience to get certified in NY. I am wondering if score expires and chances of needing to retake the parts. please advise. i am scared because changes are coming also.

    Thanks!

Congratulations, you have reached the safe zone once all 4 parts are passed.

Translation: no they will not expire since you are done

Yes, there are some states in which scores expire if license is not received. I believe in New York its five years but check with the state board and don't rely on advice from a message board comprised of all states.

I read on going concern that NY exam scores do not expire but once you hit the 10 year mark you have to do CPE. But definitely call the authority and ask them directly. Better safe than sorry! Some states do let the exams expire.
