Do retake or stick with current exam

For some of us, the Q2 exam(s) is up in the air and getting bad news in the coming weeks is very possible. So the decision we may be faced with is to schedule that retake immediately or stick with what we are currently studying for and do the retake later. What are other people planning on doing in that case?

I'm part of the Q3 score release and according to my study schedule I'll be 2 weeks into studying for REG when my FAR/AUD scores come out. My plan is to keep going no matter what my previous scores are in order to have all sections taken by the end of the year. Then reevaluate what I need to retake (hopefully none) at the beginning of the year.

Different approaches work more effectively for different people. I know myself and if I don't discipline myself to adhere to a regimented schedule I will likely fall behind or get too off track.

Unfortunately, haven taken all my exams Q2/Q3, I have no choice but to just keep going and give all 4 a try before circling back and re-taking anything I fall short on. It really sucks because I will have to pretty much start over on the material …

Overall, I think most people will have to keep studying if they are in the middle of another section. It doesn't make sense to put it down and circle back to something taken in Q2 which was so many weeks ago, where most of the info is forgotten anyway.

I have one left (not including my q2) if I fail I'm just going to keep going with my last section and retake my q2 exam in q4… good thread
