    Hey guys,

I have my exam on Saturday @ 1pm. I figured the best way to spend the time is doing lots and lots of MCQ, but I never know whether or not to study the day of the exam.

What do you guys do the day of the exam? Do you study light or heavy? Do you not? Why do you do what you do?

    Thanks!

I don't recommend it:) by the day of the exam, you either know it or not…I did flip through my flashcards for AUD and BEC beforehand, but frankly, I was so nervous I couldn't focus on studying anymore!

I studied the moment before my AUD exam. One of my flashcards, which consisted of 4 bullet points out of the authoritative literature, popped up on my exam. It was a flash card I never paid particular attention too. Needless to say, I was extremely happy I did a brief run through and could select the answer based on recognition of the answer and not so much knowing. Either way, that helped me score points that I probably would have gotten anyways, but know for sure.

CPA so close, so far away – I had something similar happen to me. Also had troubles on one part of REG that I had my girlfriend test me on and drill into my head (lots and lots of formulas) until the point that I could say them immediately (even while driving haha) and sure enough, that appeared on the exam!

I am considering lightly studying in the morning, then a few hours before the exam don't study and then lightly study right before the exam in the parking lot. Personally, I think that making sure you go into the exam at 100% is the most important thing with 0% fatigue.

My tests have all been early afternoon (like 12:30pm) and I usually briefly go through condensed notes, main trouble points to just refresh one last time while eating before I leave. Usually takes around 20 mins, I don't really intend to do much more than that

I think its good to skim notes

don't do MCQ — getting a few wrong can throw you off for the actual exam and kill your confidence

I made sure to get a good night's sleep then up early for coffee and carbs. Mine were always early afternoon exams so I never felt rushed or anxious. I kept a good pace until it was time to go. Put my NTS and ID in the car the day before. I studied MCQs and reviewed anything I felt wasn't stuck yet up until time to go. REG i even reviewed a bit in the car but I just wanted to get inside.
Be sure to ask for a handheld calculator and an extra blank scratch sheet.
It became a bit of a ritual.
    Good luck!!!

I always studying the morning of the test and go over topics I think are most important. Generally do 45 MCQs or so as well. I probably study more in the last 10 days then I do in the first 5-6 weeks.

The day of I always do “light review”. I go through my one or two pages of final notes and try to commit as much to memory as possible. I also listen to my AUDIOs. Everybody will have a different opinion, so it's kinda what feels right for you and what makes you the most comfortable.

No hardcore studying. Just reviewing notes or flashcards for like an hour is fine. The 4 hours during the exam are totally draining.

I usually spend 40 mins or so right before the test. I test early in the morning so, I only bring the flashcard with few bullet points and last minute glance of formulas so that they stick for the test, NO MCQ!!!! Any MCQs that you may wrong that day will make you even more nervous so I would avoid them. Light study/ review.

I study right up to putting my notes and belongings into the locker at Prometric. It helps me to get the last minute look at formulas and notes that I need to have memorized and squeeze in. Works for me, might not for everyone.
