Hello! Advice needed.
So I applied for the advisory evaluation and it told me I needed 23 more credit hours including 11 hrs of business classes. I, trying to go the cheaper route enrolled at my local community college. Well I took all online classes(12 credit hours) in addition to working 50 hrs a week at my accounting job and got a d in fund accounting(never took it for undergrad). I basically only studied 2 hours a piece for the tests which were 2/3 of your grade. Since I have already met the accounting requirement will the “d” still count for regular credits. I also did fine in my photography classes LOL. I am taking the rest of my business hours next semester. By the way my GPA for undergrad was 3.5, 3.9 accounting.
I just need to know if Ill have to take a CLEP(I think they are called) for that 3 credit hours because I would like to start the CPA exam next year.
Also, who has tips of studying?I have never really had to study but this fund acct. course made me very nervous about my habits and taking the CPA exam. I would like to get them straightened out before the test. I realized with online classes Im not learning very much more or less just getting through the assignments.
Thanks all!
