Has anybody had any experience cutting it close with study materials leading up to an exam? I’m taking REG in 10 days, I use Gleim and I am on study unit 13 towards the end which is partnerships there is one more unit on taxation then SUs 15-20 are all business law. My exam is next Sunday on June 10th. I’ve more or less at this point stopped trying to watch videos and take a ton of notes and just proceeded to hammering MCQs. Has anybody else had an experience like this with a section on the CPA exam and succeeded?

How much time do you have to study in day? I remember I was testing around 30% on non-profit, governmental & consolidations 5 days before the exam. I just took a deep breath and did all of the lectures over again for those sections over a 3 day period and then reviewed material for a couple days. I can understand giving up note taking I never did any while I studied. You should absolutely do all your lectures though. Just doing MCQ is not an efficient way to learn a topic.

I have anywhere from 2-4 hours on weeknights because the time I get off work varries so much then all day on weekends and I took Friday off next week. I usually score in the 60%-70% range on just about everything so far except Property Transactions. A lot of the time I will watch a lecture take tons of notes and then be clueless on the MCQs.
