Do all states now require the write up w/in the actual CPA license exam where you have to describe and provide examples of how you’ve had experience in the 7 core compentencies? If so, any advice on how in depth you need to go?

I have just found out I have to take an additional 3 units of ethics today (due to new CA requirements), so I'm having a weird sense of humor day! May I ask what state are you in?

Ugh. Oregon! I literally have the experience requirement but now I don’t know if my supervisor will sign off yet because I need more based on this core competency narrative we have to provide. Blah

@emichelle2321 How did the experience narratives work out for you? I'm trying to write them now, but I'm not quite sure how to go about it.

I'm also in Oregon, I don't think any other state has that requirement but I could be mistaken. Since I have one exam left I haven't even begun to think about that requirement. From what I've heard, it's not terribly in depth, they just mostly want to see real-life examples and explain how that meets the core competencies. Sorry I don't have more. I'll ask around and see what other people I know say about it, but like I said, I never cared to ask since I've been focused on passing all of the exams.
