I still need to wait for the licensing process to be official. However when using the Name of Certification, Name of Certifying Agency or Body, Dates of Obtainment format on your resume should you put AICPA or Indiana Board of Accountancy as the certifying agency…and if you use AICPA should you still list the state of issuance? Ex:

    1) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), 2018
or 2) Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License, Indiana Board of Accountancy, 2018

Not sure about your state specifically, but in NY the license is granted (and maintained) by the NY state board of accountancy.
I think this is true for all states, but I could be wrong.
The AICPA does not handle licensing as far as I know.

I pretty sure that's how Indiana is too. Which makes me lean toward the second option, the AICPA issues the exam but doesn't have anything to do with the licensing process. That's from the state.
