Lets say it’s is both easier to get the cpa in a different state(shorter work experience requirement), and I think it may be more useful to me in the long run to get it there, because I plan to move there. What would be the process to do it? Does it matter if I take the exam in my current state and work in my current state?

I'd start by looking at the website of the CPA board of the state you're considering moving to and the site of the CPA board of the state you live in for starters.
