How do you use a cpa-exam blueprint? Is it suppose to help us with studying, as in ..what might be tested? And the areas tested, are they the greyed-out?

Yes, according to the AICPA webinar back in November or October of last year, anything marked “analysis” is a fair game for MCQ and SIM. I can attest that the topics that appeared for both of my FAR exams are very spot on as to what is marked as “analysis” for FAR blueprint. I would scan the blueprint as you are going into review and focus on topics accordingly. Some people will say it's bs, but I believe there is something to it.
