    Hey everyone,

First post here. I have a question regarding Texas eligibility requirements. There is one requirement that I’m concerned about. This is from the Texas State Board’s website:

“The Board will accept at least 30 passing semester credit hours of accounting courses without repeat from the courses listed below.”

I originally received a C in my intermediate I course; however, my university required a B to continue to Intermediate II. Does this course count as a repeat? Can I include the 3 credit hours I received from this course (either the C grade or the B grade), or does it just not count at all?

    Thanks!

I would say the repeat applies as not double counting a course.
ie: you would get 3 credits for that course, you can't count the retake as another 3 credit hours for a total of 6 hours

I agree with Recked. If this is for the intent, the board will let you know what you are missing and you’ll have 2 years to fix it.

Ok, just wasn't sure how to interpret it. Thanks for the help!
